About the Property: This is a well-maintained, multi-family affordable housing community with dual-layered financing, utilizing both Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA). We’re looking for a results-driven professional who can navigate the complexities of layered compliance, maximize occupancy, and lead a high-performing site team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of a multi-family affordable housing property.
• Ensure full compliance with LIHTC, HUD Section 8 (PBRA), Fair Housing, and all federal/state/local housing regulations.
• Prepare for and manage MORs, REAC inspections, and LIHTC file audits.
• Supervise and train site staff including office staff and maintenance personnel.
• Maintain resident relations and foster a positive, community-oriented environment.
• Collaborate with compliance and asset management teams to meet financial and operational goals.
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience managing multi-family housing properties with both LIHTC and Section 8 (PBRA) programs.
• Proven track record of successful file audits and compliance inspections.
• Strong working knowledge of HUD handbooks 4350, LIHTC IRS Section 42 regulations, and layered funding requirements.
• Proficiency in property management software (e.g., SACS, or equivalent).
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred
Certifications: • COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist), HCCP, TCS, or equivalent affordable housing designations.
