Compensation: $Base Pay/hour + Commission

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our property management team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, guiding future residents through the leasing process from tour to move-in. The ideal candidate has strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and at least one year of experience in residential leasing or property management.

Key Responsibilities
• Sales & Leasing: Conduct prospective resident tours, present property amenities, follow up on leads, and close lease agreements to meet occupancy goals.
• Application Processing: Assist applicants with leasing paperwork, verify background and credit information, and prepare lease files accurately.
• Resident Relations: Deliver top-tier customer service by addressing resident inquiries, handling service requests, and assisting with community events.
• Marketing & Outreach: Assist in creating local marketing strategies, updating online listing platforms, and maintaining social media channels would be a plus.
• Market Knowledge: Perform market surveys of local competitors to stay informed on pricing, concessions, and property trends.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Leasing Consultant or in a similar sales/hospitality/customer service role within residential real estate.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Administrative: Organizational skills including, preparing lease agreements, tracking application statuses, and coordination move-in and move-out inspections while complying with local Fair Housing Laws.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with property management software (e.g., RealPage, Entrata, Yardi) and MS Office Suite. Understanding of Fair Housing Laws would be a plus.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong active listening and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends or varying shifts as needed.
